Scheduling Policies and Practice guidelines for clients:
Payment Policy
Payment: Payment is expected at time of visit. If you are wanting to bill your insurance provider, I can email you a billing statement of services and you can submit this to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
*I accept cash, checks and credit/debit payments. Credit/Debit has a 2.65% plus .10 cent service charge.
Cancellation Policy
Please respect this cancellation policy and understand that Short Notice Cancellations and Missed Appointments hurt service quality, since it deprives someone else from being able to schedule that session. Most appointments are scheduled weeks in advance. I understand that life can get complicated, and sometimes there are situations that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergency, etc.) in those cases I may make an exception and waive the fee at my discretion.
24 hour notice: is required if you must cancel or change an appointment. Cancellation fees must be paid prior to your next appointment.
Late Arrivals: If you find yourself running late, please call within the first 10 minutes of your session. If you do not call, you will be considered a "no-show" and the remainder of your time will be released. Unfortunately your appointment will then be canceled and you will be responsible for full payment of the missed session – which must be paid prior to your next appointment.
If you arrive late (within the first 15 minutes of your appointment time), you will receive the remaining balance of your massage time, however, you will be charged for the full appointment.
No-shows: Anyone who forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason, or does not call will be considered a "no-show". You will be charged for the full price of your originally scheduled service.
I reserve the right to terminate a session if a client displays any inappropriate, sexual or disrespectful behavior toward the massage therapist. Radiant Hummingbird Massage Therapy only provides non-sexual, therapeutic massage. In the event a session is terminated due to a client's inappropriate behavior, the client will be expected to pay for the full massage.
